Redwater Library Board

The Redwater Library Board operates within the mandate of the Province of Alberta Libraries Act and Regulations; the Redwater Library Bylaw and is appointed by Town Council. The Board is the Redwater Library’s governing body and provides citizen input into the direction of library services. We are accountable to Town Council, the Province, and residents for the operation of the Library

Make a difference in your community by becoming a volunteer on the Redwater Library Board. The Board exists to develop, promote and monitor library services as a public trustee. To apply, download the Trustee application form or contact the Library Manager (780) 942-3464.

Attend a Meeting

Library Board meetings begin at 6:00 pm and are generally held the first Wednesday of each month. You do not have to be a member of the Board to attend a meeting. We invite you to join us and see what we are working on. The meetings are open to the public; however, when confidential matters are discussed, the Board may make a motion to hold portions of the meeting in the absence of the public.
