Please see below for the latest updates on our response to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Redwater Public Library will be closed to the public starting Tuesday, March 17th in response to the current Covid-19 outbreak. This precautionary step is being taken to protect the safety of our patrons, staff, and community. Library staff will continue to provide as many services as possible while limiting contact with patrons and others.
Any items that you wish to return may be placed in the library book drop on the exterior of the library. Staff will be working throughout this week to safely check in returned library materials.
If you are feeling sick, please do not return items through the book drop. Call the library instead (780-942-3464) from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm and staff will help renew your items or extend your borrowing period as necessary. Please have your library card ready when you call.
The library will remain closed until further notice. Staffing, phone hours, and other services may change at any time during the closure. Updates will be posted to our website and Facebook page as developments occur.
If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to send us a Facebook message or call the library. Staff will attempt to respond to all messages within a reasonable time frame.
We hope to be able to resume regular library services soon. In the meantime, the library and its staff will be following all relevant recommendations laid out by the provincial and federal governments and the Town of Redwater regarding Covid-19, and we would urge our patrons to do the same.
